Pedaling into town on a Sunday morn…
Good time to hang with the boys, did some riding, some flattin, and some purchasing of new tires and tubes. Rode through Washington Park for the talent show and had a good day. I didn’t even use my A.K.
some more chickens
The first photo of the girls
The first photo of the girls, two of them anyway. Mary Magdaline is the Araucana in the background and Penelope is the Cochin in the foreground. So far they seem happy to be here and we’re happy to have them.
I’ll have more photos later with Alice the other chicken.
Welcome Home Cooper #1
Our newest addition to the family. Cooper a.k.a. Copper is a rescue Blue Tick Coon Hound. He is super smart and rowdy, think i’ll need to take up exercising again, or he may eat the sofa.
A prior life…
A picture of the Gehard, in front of the Torteron sign in Paginges France. There are some things I miss greatly about not having a real soul-sucking job, but the pay checks sure do come in handy when paying bills. Still, there must be a better way…I’ll let you know when I find it.
National Trails Day 2009
National Trails day in the neighborhood was held at a local stomping ground. Lakewood park’s, Green Mountain (Hayden something or other). It was a great time, lots of work and fantastic people. I ended up with a couple of chaps on the water bar duty, every one we were responsible for are the best jumping on the hill. We cleared about 1 mile of new trail and cleaned up the rest making it more sustainable for the future. Here are some pics of the day…
Have visit to the COMBA website and give them money, you’re just going to waste it anyways.
Ripped off post from a better site…
Straight up repurposed from Stevil at How to Avoid the Bummer Life but this shit is way too funny not to propagate on the interweb…
